1. About Us

Furface Studio is an AI-powered custom pet portrait service operated by an Australian sole trader. We create personalised digital artwork and physical products. Our contact email is hello@furfacestudio.com.

2. The Portrait Generation Service

Our AI portrait generation service allows you to create up to 3 portraits free of charge before any purchase is required. Additional free portraits require an email address. All portraits are generated by artificial intelligence based on the design you select and the pet photo you upload.

Portrait results vary depending on the quality and clarity of the photo you provide. We recommend a clear, well-lit photo showing your pet's face. We cannot guarantee any specific result and no two portraits will be identical.

Generated portrait previews are stored for up to 60 days. After this period they are permanently deleted. We are not responsible for portraits that expire before you complete a purchase.

3. No Amendments Policy

All sales are final. Before completing your purchase, you will be shown your portrait and asked to confirm that you are happy with it by ticking a mandatory checkbox. This constitutes your explicit approval of the portrait.

Once an order is placed, we are unable to make amendments to the portrait, swap it for a different generation, or recreate it. There are no human artists on staff to make modifications. The AI-generated portrait you approved at checkout is the portrait you will receive.

If you are unhappy with your portrait result before purchasing, you may use your remaining free portrait attempts (up to your daily limit) to try again with a different or better-quality photo.

4. Orders and Payments

All prices are displayed in your local currency where available. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept credit cards and PayPal. Applicable taxes (including GST for Australian customers) are calculated and applied automatically at checkout.

By placing an order you confirm that you are the authorised holder of the payment method used. We reserve the right to cancel orders we believe to be fraudulent.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Physical products are produced and shipped by our print-on-demand production partner. Estimated production time is 1–5 business days. Shipping times vary by destination and are displayed at checkout.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or events outside our control. Once an order is dispatched, tracking information will be emailed to you.

Digital downloads are delivered by email immediately after payment is confirmed and upscaling is complete, typically within 1–2 minutes.

6. Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on returns and refunds. As all products are custom-made to order, our refund policy reflects the personalised nature of the service.

7. Intellectual Property

All original character designs, illustrations, and artwork on this site were created by and are the exclusive property of Furface Studio. These designs are protected by copyright.

When you purchase a portrait, you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use and display your portrait for personal use. You may not resell, sublicense, or use your portrait for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

You retain ownership of the pet photos you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited licence to use them solely for the purpose of generating your portrait.

8. AI Disclosure

Portraits are created using AI technology that integrates your pet's face into our original designs. All original artwork and character designs were conceived and crafted by our design team. By using this service you acknowledge that your portrait is AI-generated and agree to the terms of this disclosure.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our service to upload images that are offensive, illegal, or infringe the rights of others. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders at our discretion.

You may not use automated tools or scripts to access our portrait generation service in a manner that circumvents our usage limits.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furface Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
